Ariel Aliyah Global Radio
( 3 items )
Ariel's Community Aliyah Program is constantly in search of efficient new ways to keep in touch with its growing list of potential olim. With newsletters, an internet site, a blog, an Facebook discussion group and a Yahoo Group, modern technology has certainly served the cause for English speaking aliyah well. Nonetheless, the distance between the olim-to-be and their Home in Israel is so great that many of the families that intend to move to Ariel have requested an even closer connection with Israel in general and the City of Ariel in particular. The Ariel Aliyah Global Radio program addresses the needs of past, present and future olim. The weekly program is broadcast live, online, on Good News Radio, Ariel's internet radio station. The program includes discussions concerning aliyah, life in Ariel and life in Israel. From live interviews to musical interludes, from special guests to featured topics, the program is a unique opportunity for olim to ease their way into Israel. A weekly dose of Ariel Aliyah Global Radio goes a long way. The program is broadcast live, Sunday evenings, 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm Israel time (note the non-uniformity in international daylight savings time adjustments when checking your local time for the show). In order to tune in press the "Good News Radio Ariel" icon on the on the left side of the screen, or press the following link: http://media.ariel.muni.il/106/106fm.asx , at the designated time. Of course, listeners are welcome to tune in and hear other Good News Radio programs at their convenience – the radio station broadcasts 24 hours a day.
