When the new tennis courts were dedicated by Victoria Hearst, a very special friend of Ariel, even the most optimistic of the city's sports staff did not expect such an overwhelming response from the city's youngsters. The tennis club has grown by leaps and bounds in just a year. Over one hundred children are learning not only to love this wonderful sport but to play well.
Ariel has been so very blessed by this special relationship with Victoria, who has also funded the expansion of the city's Sheltered Workshop and the "Victoria Afternoon Center" for children with special developmental needs. We are so grateful to Victoria Hearst for always making the needs of the people of Ariel such a high priority in her life.

Victoria's desire to bless Israel and the Jewish people is not limited to Ariel. Recently, as Ma'alei Ephraim prepared to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the founding of their community, Victoria asked Mayor Ron Nachman to present her gift to Mayor David Kopelovitch (pictured below) to help to foster Ma'alie Ephraim's growth and development |
