 Dear friend, Anita Secord, who was recently ordained, and a small group were welcome guests in Ariel. They began their visit with a briefing by Dina Shalit, Executive Director of the Ariel Fund, who then led the group on a tour of Ariel, along the route of the security fence and to visit with the soldiers at the IDF outpost overlooking the city.
Anita always includes Ariel in every visit to Israel. |

 Mayor Ron Nachman and Ariel Development Fund Executive Director Dina Shalit recently returned from a visit to the United States. Their tour to raise funds for the City of Ariel began in Manassas, VA, where they were hosted by Pastor John Peyton at the Reconciliation Community Church. Pastor Peyton was recently in Ariel for the first time. He is pictured here with (L to R) Victoria Hearst, JoAnn Taylor and Dina Shalit.

At the recent American Friends of Ariel "Peace with Security" Dinner, keynote speaker Ambassador Daniel Ayalon promised Mayor Ron Nachman he would come to visit him in Ariel. True to his word, the former Israeli Ambassador to the United States came with his wife, Anne, their daughters and visiting American family members. They were received by the mayor and toured Ariel, noting much of the new development in the city. They also visited Antenna Hill, the IDF outpost near Ariel. The Ayalon group heard the lovely voices of the Russian Senior Citizen Choir and visited the city's media center, as well.
