The first venture-capital-backed technological incubator in Israel, Incentive adopted the new Pilot program launched by the Israel Ministry of Industry and Trade in May 2002.

Founded by Peregrine Ventures(www.peregrinevc.com), Incentive operates as a limited partnership. Its original founders, the municipality of Ariel and the College of Judea and Samaria have retained limited, minority ownership and continue to provide their support to the incubator and its projects.

By virtue of being designated both Pilot and Peripheral technological incubator, Incentive has the financial capabilities to offer its government approved projects, funding of more than $500,000 (more than 2,500,000 Shekels) over the course of two years.

Resident projects enjoy the managerial support of both the experienced Incubator team and that of Peregrine's management. Furthermore, the entire international web of Peregrine's business connections is readily available to these projects.
